Lots of boxers move up because they can't make a weight anymore. Duran who was much smaller than Brook, moved up from bantamweight and eventually won a title at middleweight.
of course they do. but, as we know, Brook was negotiating for a fight with Vargas at 147 before this came along. tells me he and his team feel he can still make 147. he also, to my knowledge, hasn't relinquished his ww title unless I missed it.

Brook been bulking bros. He's either gonna lean out hard and look like Cotto against Canelo, or gonna look chunky like Khan did. You can't add 13lbs of muscle mass in a training camp.

He's not a mw and doesn't have experience with guys GGG's size. This weigh in doesn't change that.

ok. the thing is Brook being 175 right now doesn't make the fight good.

lol. I guess Freedom didn't see GGG's 30 day weight.

His camp weren't lying when they used to say he had to kill himself to make WW huh!

Wonder if he will campaign at 154 after this fight.

Why is this a shocker? Golovkin has always been a smaller or regular sized middleweight, he walks around no more than 170-175 pounds. Other middleweights walk around well over 180.

Brook is a massive Welterweight, I been saying it for years this guy was like a man among boys at 147, when he was lean he was like 160 with very little body fat on fight night with tree trunk legs solid muscle, with body fat before the cut he had to have been in the 170s.

Don't be shocked if Brook knocks Golovkin out, Brook is no Amir Khan, Brook has a solid chin and is very strong in the grappling area.

Golovkin could struggle with Brook don't count him out.

In photos, Brook and Golovkin appear to be about the same size.

This fight is still a mismatch. No one south of 168 can stand up to Triple Duck and he's gone fishing for an overweight 147 fighter who last we saw on the sofa on a sky broadcast looked fat. Just because this guy is fat don't make him a challenge, clearly their ain't a challenge for Duck anywhere except 168.

Wake me up when this guy moves up.

Stop it. I didn't discredit GGG.

duran didn't "move up" he ate, smoked and drank his way out of every weight class, same as Broner is doing.

there is a difference between growing out of a weight class (like a bhop) naturally while always training and eating right and going up like duran because inbetween fights you don't diet or train.

FFS Tunney you as a fan know this.
