So far it looks like PBC is well on its way to establishing itself as the dominant boxing brand in America. Once HBO exits the boxing scene in a few years PBC will be the only option.

Considering that the UFC sold for $4 billion, with PBC on multiple networks, unlike UFC... they have a great chance to be valued at $5 billion plus in 4 to 5 years.

Amazing time to be a boxing fan!

It takes money to make a whole lot more money.

Considering they lost 431 mil as of the end of June you should put your over under in 2020 at $5.00

        Nope.

First off there is no guarantee PBC will even be in business by 2020 as mentioned already. The failure rate for new businesses in the first 5 years is something like 80% iirc. PBC isn't immune to that statistic. People talk about Haymon's successful businesses, but I'm sure he has dozens of failed businesses in the wake of finding the ones that became successful as most every entrepreneur has experienced.

Second the web of influence PBC has is still far less than it needs to have. I mean most of the P4P considered fighters in the world are under contract to HBO. PBC will need to shift that trend & that won't happen quickly over the next 4 years odds are. The UFC has virtually the top ten guys in virtually every division by independent MMA rankings & probably about 80% of the top twenty guys in each division overall. The PBC isn't anywhere close to that saturation of the market. It'll need to get there to be worth billions.

I've been saying from the start this is a long play for control of boxing & the earliest PBC getting the type of control it'd need to be worth billions of dollars is a decade (2025) at the absolute earliest & honestly with how much of a clusterf#ck boxing is I'd take the over on that. I mean boxing is like some hillbilly rigged car wtih wires sticking out, the ignition system missing & uncontrollable low rider hydraulics that move the car up & down patternlessly. It runs, but good luck making sense of it all & super good luck in trying to get everything sorted out in a more structured & logical way.
