If you criticize this numbers, I'm sure you must of wrote a lot of **** when Showtimes number came out a couple of weeks ago.

I'm not criticizing the numbers, I'm telling the truth about them. I don't give a schit if 3 people watch a fight. If I like it, I watch it. I don't care how many people watched Showtimes fight. I don't care how many watch Kovalev vs ward. I don't care that 48 people ordered the Crawford Postol fight. All that matters is that I did, and I enjoyed it. Doesn't mean I can't tell the truth about it though.

it's not looking good for the kovalev-ward PPV

HBO should of went directly into the Kovalev/Ward PPV banking on the high ratings that Ward got against Barrera and Kovalev got against Pascal earlier this year. Instead HBO green lit two pointless mismatches one a Kovalev fight on Monday night tape delay that got dog crap ratings and now Ward getting weak ratings against Brand. Those 2 fights did NOTHING to build up the PPV fight and just wasted HBO budget money that could of been spent on better fights.

They couldn't, Ward insisted on another tune-up. But supposedly HBO only paid about 300k for the Brand joke, the rest was Roc Nation.

Then they should of forced him to fight that crap on BET like they did last year when HBO said no to that tune up fight. Having both Ward and Kovalev face terrible mismatches has only dulled the excitement for their upcoming PPV. Let Ward have a tune up fight on his own time and dime. Instead of hurting the HBO product. People who watched that boring fight might now say screw paying 60 bucks to watch him fight again on PPV. Even if HBO paid 300K that was too much for that trash. It took a fight date and some budget away from better fights HBO could of aired.
