Not bad numbers for such a mismatch??? Maybe the ppv numbers with Kov will be great.

lmao. Those numbers are atrocious and indicative of what people think of wards opponent selection. People are tired of his Tune Up Tour.

These numbers are not very good. For HBO standards these are Boxing After Dark type ratings and far below their 1mil avg they typically do for World Class Boxing shows. Also down significantly from Ward's last fight earlier this year against Barrera that did 1.064m viewers. Hell the undercard that night with prospect JoJo Diaz making his HBO debut did better then this (756k)

Yup I think the p i ss poor opponent who was such a major underdog is a big reason for the bad rating.

anything lower than 900k-1m on regular HBO is below par

it's not looking good for the kovalev-ward PPV

Yup Showtimes ratings are far more disturbing then anything going on with HBO. Leo Santa Cruz just drew 480k viewers and that was billed and marketed by showtime as a mega fight. SMH

Leo Santa Cruz early 2015 pre PBC drew 912k viewers on Showtime against bum Jesus Ruiz lol A year and a half later he's drawing HALF that in the biggest fight of his career.
