Anybody that calls a fight boring doesn't understand the art of boxing, it not always going to be guns blazing. Ward will not beat Kov that way, he has to take Kov out of his element. Make him swing and miss, counter, stay inside to nullify his power. This will be a technical fight.
Nothing wrong with fight parties, best way to buy PPV really.

... he said he was a combo of Roy Jones, Floyd, B-Hop...
... he said SRL vs Hearns...

Watching Kovalev fights is like reading some colorful fun comics
Watching Ward fights is like reading some descriptive and detailed instruction book to some complicated device

And that Kovalev/Ward fight is the only 3rd fight in pro boxing history where two undefeated top 5 p4p fighters face each other, the other two fights were Chavez/Taylor and ODLH/Trinidad

It will be more Leonard-Hagler..making it Hagler-Hearns is suicide for Ward

Ward says its resembles Leonard vs Hearns because it's a 50-50 fight going in and the question is who will rise to the occasion and win.
I guess he sees himself as Leonard. Nobody ever said SOG lacked confidence

I might not survive if this fight ended up like that.

Highly, highly doubtful it does, but I guess I can dream.

Tall, lanky, huge puncher with boxing skill that will surprise the well-rounded boxer and make him chase the stoppage?

It's a stretch but I want to believe this has a chance to end up that good. And it's also similar in that two prime top fighters are meeting up.
