Less than 150k. Ward doesn't have fans nor is kov well known. I think if hbo actually promote it and make kov seem like a bad guy or a monster who killed someone in the ring, it probably sell more but we know hbo going to promote this fight as much as they did Crawford postol which isn't much.

        240,000k

Really will see what the popularity is for boxing in USA. Manny, morales, young floyd, barrera all could do 300-450k. If boxing is healthy then Ward-kovolev should easily get those numbers.. Sadly I think it comes up short

If people won't buy this fight ppv is done. I hope it does well. It's about the best fight that can be made. I think most are still sour about may vs pac. I'm guessing 180k

Kovalev is a very exciting fighter, but he's not well known because the media pays little attention to him (because he's not from the USA and because his skin is the wrong color).

Ward is not really well known either, even though he's an American. Most people who watch him don't want to see him again, because of his boring "clinch, head butt, arm clamp" style.

"Oh my... let's be honest here, Ward came in like a billygoat" - Al Bernstein during Ward-Kessler

Still one of the most blatant intentional head butts I've ever seen.

Nobody knows either guy in the mainstream
I predict 150,000. No PR campaign is going to result in more than 150,000 PPV buys. To sell on PPV you have to be very popular. There is no one in boxing today who is that popular.
