true, Bully and outside the ring life caught up with him. Hector Camacho then. Could have been top 10 alltime, but had a crazy outside the ring lifestyle.

There are a handful of standard examples that always get used to let me throw some unconventional opinions that our my own.

First opinion is a f#cked up situation that I was recently reminded of because of Verdejo's motorcycle accident. There was this up & coming Italian kid out of Chicago being promoted by Ernie Terrell named Vinny Letizia back in the day. Kid was a 5'5ish 140lber. He was KOing most everyone in spectacular fashion & had an impressive body attack that left more than one guy crumbled up on the canvass on the midwest circuit. Terrell started bringing in bigger names like former US Olympian Jackie Beard & former world champion Harry Arroyo to fight Letizia. Letizia was only 2.5yrs into his pro career, moving fast towards bigger & better fights, 21 years old & 16-0-1 (14) when he was hit by a car while riding his motorcycle & killed. So while not the typical didn't live up to his potential story for me as a fan of Letizia the lost potential was a real thing.

I was also of the opinion Joseph Kiwanuka with his frame (6'2 with a crazy ass reach), solid power & a nice jab was capable of winning a 160/168 title back in the day. He was within a fight or two of a title shot I feel, but never could win that key fight to get him in a title shot let alone winning one. Think he maxed out at winning a NABF title before having his candle burning out fairly quickly in his mid 20's. I believe he had eye issues by that time which is why his downfall was so sudden (24-1-2 up to his 25th birthday & 3-8 after). Believe he was blind in one eye & homeless in Las Vegas as of just a couple years ago before some cats getting a fund going for him to get him back to Uganda (his home country) where his family still lives today.

Michael Grant as someone said (Remember the Lewis fight and McLine? Lmao). Audley Harrison (lmao). I think Chisora could have been more but I'm partial.

Zab is a poster boy. Victor Ortiz. Someone mentioned Valero but not sure that counts. We'd haveto start adding Salvador Sanchez and others.

I always thought Andrew Golota had massive potential too and that if he'd have put it all together he would have been a monster. I'm not counting Gamboa out just for losing to an enormous Crawford while fighting at a class he (Gamboa) shouldnt have been in.

                  Hands down, unequivocally, Andre Dirrell.

Had a great amateur career, had a win over Golovkin was a bronze medallist and has nothing to show for it as a pro.

Mike Tyson, if he stayed with Rooney and didn't have "Team Tyson" take over.
He could have been the best ever. Still had a great career.

Gamboa, the first time I seen him fight I knew he was special. The fight with Crawford proved he was great.

David Tua, can't believe he never won at least a paper belt. The KO over Ruiz was insane.
