Tbf Kazakhstan is part of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which are part of the former Soviet Union. All countries under that banner are technically considered Eastern European by the UN. Geographically it's central Asia but it's still Eastern Europe.

If you're from Vladivostok you're geographically purely Asian but technically European because Russia is part of Europe. Eastern Europe is not a geographic construct but a geopolitical one. So to sum up - GGG is 100% Eastern European.

True fightfans like fighters based on their boxing style without any other concern. I like boxer punchers like Marquez, Pacquiao, Stevenson ect. I also like all action fighters like Golovkin, Salido, Kirkland ect. And I dont care where their from, what they do or dont do in their personal lives, if they speak or dont speak a certain language, if their rude or polite or any of that bull****! Last white hope was late Tommy Morrison as I recall. So when he talks about US he talks about BLACK fighters. Don't be fooled. Ward is far more racist than Kovalev and that is the reason why he was never accepted by general population.
