    The 168lbs Trio

At the moment, with Ward moving up, Abraham and Dirrell losing, etc., 168lbs basically comes down to a contest between 3 fighters: Ramirez, DeGale and Jack. Who is the best among them, in your opinion, and why?

    Badou Jack

I'm going to go off on a limb and say out of those three I'd favour Ramirez in every fight against them.

Badou Jack is quite overrated and he has a suspect chin
DeGale seriously overrated boxing IQ I had him losing against Porky Medina and Lucian Bute

    Ramirez 1st
    Jack 2nd
    DeGale 3rd

Badou Jack, he fought Bute, Medina, and Groves better than DeGale

I dunno how proven Ramirez is. For me, DeGale is the stand out in terms of pure skill, Jack is a robotic, work man like fighter with good fitness. Groves should be up there, his stamina is a bit of an issue and his inability to sustain pressure for 12 rounds. He would have beaten Jack if he could have done that.

168 is at a cross roads at the moment and is just crying out for a stand out name. I feel if DeGale can beat Jack, beat groves again and then beat Ramirez just for the sake of that belt, he'd be 3 out of 4 and that would give the division some direction.

          Degale easy.

Much more complete, superior footwork, speed, ring iq, punch selection, great angles and uses his reach well. Killer uppercut. One of my favorite all around fighters.

Ramirez fights like a little man even though he's 6'2. Not mobile or defensively responsible. Lots of flaws in his game.

Badou Jack also lacks mobility and his high guard limits him. He lacks ring generalship and is very robotic. Great textbook fighter but lacks that extra umpf.

He has the power and the range, but as long as they can take it I would say they could both beat him by boxing fairly well.

            1.Degale
            2.Jack
            3.Ramirez

I will take Callum Smith over all of them in a year or two.
He doesn't have stamina issues. Taking breaks is good boxing.

The future is Ramirez, DeGale could be good, however Jack could lose to some fringe contenders. Saw him get smashed on ESPN FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS one time. DeGale could be safe fighting Euros his whole career. Ramirez i hope isn't rushed into a Golovkin fight. Give him more time. Jack lucky to have that belt!

DeGale imo. I'm a huge fan of his and think he has the skills to hang out in any top 10 p4p list. His problem, as I see it, is himself. He seems to be one of those guys that fights to the level of his opposition. He also takes to many rounds off which makes his fights closer than they otherwise would be. Its almost like his arrogance gets in the way.

In my opinion Ramirez is the best, Jack 2nd and overrated wide punching and often running DeGale 3rd.
