Yeah I don't think a Crawford fight would have ended good for Pacquiao.

Fair enough, but it appears that Pac's own coach is not confident about Manny fighting Terrence ("we need 2 more fights") and neither is his advisor ("Crawford's style is bad for Manny"). So obviously they see Crawford as more of a threat, since clearly they believe that Vargas' style is 'right' for Manny.

I like Crawford and Pacquiao. And I want to see a good competitive fight, hopefully with the better man winning with no controversy.

Pacquiao-Crawford is probably a more competitive fight, I'm not sure who wins. As I said (and as Pac's team knows very well) Manny-Vargas is not a competitive fight. That's why they are not talking about needing more fights to get in the ring with Vargas.

All this stuff about styles being wrong for Manny are another way of saying 'we are not sure that we can beat him'. But this has been going on for years, Manny certainly is not the first.

Pac's team talks like he is coming off a long layoff. He just convincingly beat Bradley in April and he normally only fight twice a year anyway. I'm tired of obvious mismatches, they are a waste of time. If a fight is good on paper and turns out to be a mismatch, that's one thing. But recently we've been seeing fights that any knowledgeable observer knows it are mismatches before the fights even happen.

No way. If Crawford actually fights and uses a Marquez/Morales strategy then he'd get ****ed up and most likely lose. Pacquaio has become much better since his Morales days and much more dynamic. So basically if this fight goes down instead of Vargas, I'd like to see Bud fight toe toe, speed vs speed, who can out perform the other

pac will be training entirely in the philipines for his next fight (im not sure if you're aware of this). roach has stated that if manny fights crawford, he would atleast want manny to finish off his training at the wild card gym, which will not be the case for his fight in november so its understandable why roach doesnt want crawford next.

you'll be a fool to think team pac is ducking crawford when pac's resume is years beyond what crawford has accomplished (its quite an insult to even bring it up). he's not coming off a long lay off but for this fight he would be training completely in the philipines, this way he can tend to his senate work while training at the same time. we all know crawford is way better than vargas in terms of skills, so if pac faces crawford, i would atleast want a 100% manny instead of one that train on and off because of his senate work.

People need to pump the brakes on Crawford just a lil bit. Yes he is an amazing talent and has a great future ahead of him BUT son hasn't really been tested like that. We have yet to see how he does against a true elite prize fighter. Postol. Gamboa & Burns are his greatest W's so far. None of those fighters qualify as true elite prize fighters. Does Bud have a chance against #48? absolutely. Is it a given that he beats #48? absolutely NOT!

If i was handling Terence's carreer i would first throw him in with more experienced guys like Lamont Peterson & Tim Bradley. Those 2 guys would be a good test for Bud at this point of his carreer.

I got #48 by UD over Terence if they fight next.

I get the feeling it wouldn't make much difference to MP who he fought. But more like the management and promotion people playing the duck role with regards to a Crawford fight. Manny still has speed and better power than Crawford. MP by KO mid way. Hypothetically speaking of course.

I didn't block you, in fact I found myself blocked, must be a bug. I don't even have the power to block people.

Anyway, it's not about what I think. Pac's own people are saying they don't want to fight Terrence. These are the words directly from them. But hey, I'll ignore all the people close to Pac and I'll believe you, OK?

No reason why the Pacman would avoid a guy who ran all night against Postol, who barely had any scratches after the fight and could fight the next day.

Only reason why this fight won't happen is because team Crawford wants huge money it didn't deserve. Which is why Arum is using Vargas for strategic reasons in the negotiating table with Crawford.
Well, I guess you were WRONG!!! Pacquiao vs. Vargas!!!
