Floyd-Berto must've been a colossal failure.

It did 500,000 buys, but when you consider Mayweather was paid $32M and Berto was paid $4M. They had to have lost ~$10M on that fight.

nowadays more people stream and stream. Low numbers will be more normal each year that goes by.

Boxing with it's careful "matching" is destroying itself just like the big rock music business did when they started selling records at 15+.

Boxing should give us better fights than what they have been giving us in the last years.

agree 100% alot of these fights i dont pay for is not because im too cheap or i think i can get it free somewhere else... I just don't think its worth my 60$ im willing too bet money that if Canelo and GGG happened this fall like it was supposed 2. It would have sold over 700k. PPV fights as of late havent did any real numbers because no one wants to see them.

I was one of those that paid to see GGG-Lemeuix. It was an enjoyable card if I remember. Although yeah... lately these PPVs suck ballz. Crawford-Postol? Nobody outside of hardcore boxing fans knew Postol and Crawford still making a name. Now you got Canelo against a dude I never knew until this fight was signed. Wth.
