Why are GGG fanboys so upset?

No they belong to the Falkland Islanders. Argentina invaded/fought for them & lost. Brits never invaded. They settled there. Hence they are entitled to them just like the Argies would have been had they settled & successfully defended them.Last edited by 1g5a22; 08-07-2016, 06:54 AM.Comment

I've been following Golovkin for about 5 yeara now and have seen him fight live. I've been following Kovalev for longer and have seen him fight live and have met em twice. Perhaps that makes me a "fan boy" of both... from my perspective, I remember taking a selfie with Sergey sitting in the 2nd row of Mikey Garcia vs Burgos. Sergey sat behind me along with Tapia. Many people just walked by Sergey. Meanwhile, Andre was suited and booted and a commentator at ringside for HBO with ppl asking for autographs. It's great to see someone climb and now find themselves holding an arm full of titles and now facing someone like Ward who needs no introduction. IMO it's a nod to days when you fought who you had to fight simply because they were standing in the middle of the road towards someone being what many would call P4P best. I wish it happened more often and cong**** to both fighters. I am unsure what that has to do with the middleweight champion howeverI have literally not seen one GGG fanboy say one positive thing about the upcoming Ward-Kovalev fight, which happens to be the best and most important fight to be made in all of boxing-probably in recent memory too. Two prime, undefeated fighters in the top 5 p4p. When was the last time this happened? Oscar vs Tito? This is a historic fight and all I hear from them is b1tching and moaning about irrelevant ****. Sad to see. Maybe they are just insecure that their hero isn't challenging himself like Ward and projecting their anger at him? I can't wait for this fight and honestly would be happy if either fighter wins as I like both fighters.

Two fighters doing it the right way.

That's specifically why I said "fanboy" instead of just fan, to exclude genuine fans like yourself who are not trying to downplay this fight.I've been following Golovkin for about 5 yeara now and have seen him fight live. ^Someone give this man a prize.
They're frustrated and raging mad that they can't criticize anything about the man's talents, and that he's going to beat Kovalev, and that everyone knows GGG wants none of that. You'd think boxing fans would have the ability to like all sorts of fighters. For instance, I like Ward, and Kovalev, and Fury, and Crawford. All types.
If you find yourself favoring one "type" of fighter (I'll let you read between the lines) then you're not really a boxing fan. You're just a small minded twat that likes watching people hit each other.Comment
