Switched cause he has no right hand.

And I'm not a Ward fan - I don't consider him top P4P anything compared to Floyd, but I acknowledge his ring generalship which does stand out. He controls pace in every fight he's been in besides Darnell Boone.
No, it's not just boring to me. It's boring to everyone. Go ahead and watch it for the first time. It's obvious you haven't seen it. The only difference between Hopkins and Ward is Ward decides to fight slightly more often while ruining a fight.

Remember this is a 39 year old, who is a career super middleweight and was pretty much retired for 8 months. A journeyman...wow this was worse than watching Ward v Smith.
I love it when people try to rewrite history

Whilst I am not saying that this fight was some stellar victory for Ward, it is still a fact that Brand's last fight was at light heavy and his victory over Medzhid Bektemirov was regarded as a very good one for him

Furthermore, he wasnt retired - he just hadnt fought for eight months. Big ****ing deal!

Crawford pulled the man's punk card, period. Don't blame Crawford for that.
You people blame everyone but your heroes. You also blamed cab driver Agbeko when Rigo stunk up the place and made the audience exit the doors. It's a fight between two fighters. If your opponent is not throwing anything, you should, especially when you refuse to fight unless it's PPV.

sure he doesnt get knockouts, no one has a 100 % ko ratio especially at the top level....maybe you find him boring because he outright beats his opponents and it doesnt take some monumental struggle for him to win....if

They said Mayweather was boring...He wasnt imo...it takes two to tango and if what you are doing in the ring is working, why stop? oh yea because casual fans want blood and guts....thats unrealistic, these dudes arent robots.

Pernell whitaker was boring too....more like hard to beat and dominant

Roy was labeled boring and fought mis-mandatories.....he was dominant, not boring.

sounds like you are just reaching for something to criticize, considering Ward CLEARLY beats all of his opponents

and the same can be said about exciting fighters who come foward.

Rigo's 50x more boring than Ward. Lara is 30x more boring than Ward. Wlad is 30x more boring than Ward.

Ward's fights are not action packed, but there's a lot of cool nuances if you pay attention to the details. Watching him judge and calculate distance on the fly is pretty amazing.
