I'm not trying to defend Mayorga (actually I think what he's doing is messed up). Other fighters have done it in the past. Hopkins was on his way back to the airport before he fought De La Hoya. Mayorga thinks he can scare any boxer. I don't think he got to Oscar, and Mayorga knows it. What better way to upset a business man (Oscar) than **** with his money. I mean you train for 4 months and then at the last minute you find out you might not fight because the other guy wants more money. I think Mayorga is just f'n with oscar cause nothing else really worked. And why did he wait to the end of the press conference to say anything. I may be wrong but I don't think it's just about the money.
