Salka, but there's an argument to be made for Brand. At least Salka has fought at 140 before and was young. Brand is 40 years old and is a career smw.

The fight tonight is horrible for sure...

But the Salka fight was criminal.

Ward is a higher level fighter so he should be held to higher standards. It's the nature of the sport though, fight 3-4 overmatched opponents for every good opponent faced.

What does age have to do with it? Bundu is a seasoned 147 Euro Champ, and facing a Errol. Salka this past 2015 was fighting at 126! Danny Garcia chose Salka by the Phily vine and was nowhere near 140 in career. I believe that bout was at 142, as Garcia needed to adjust to 147.

          Brand is a pimp

You're saying Garcia wasn't a "higher level fighter" than Salka? I think you forgot Garcia's record and Lineal accomplishment.

The circumstance is the Kovalev fight. That's a pretty good standard to have a agreed upon come November..

Salka is worse by a large amount. Ward is not a defending champion so he has no obligation to fight a high ranked fighter. Garcia was a champion and as a champion he was supposed to fight somebody ranked higher than 78th. Ward is fighting the best light heavyweight in the world in November while Garcia continues to avoid the better 140 to 147 pound boxers from Salka right up to Berto. Berto and Peterson aren't that bad but they aren't that good either. Ward vs Brand is a poor fight but Garcia vs Salka was a disgrace.

Ward >>>Garcia is what i'm saying.

Therefore he is held to a higher standard.

Was Garcia off for 2 years? Is Garcia scheduled to face Errol or Thurman in November?

Ward fought in March dude. A few months before that he also fought an overmatched opponent. Again higher quality fighters deserve higher standards. Many view Ward as the best fighter in the game.
