Well he ducked Whyte, who has been shown to be several levels below AJ. But now he wants to go straight to a title shot?...

If he wanted to test himself against the best he could beat a good contender to put himself in the title shot.

Lol? As in, Lol you don't seem to realize several of Wilder's opponent's still rank higher than Hugie, even after losing to Wilder?
As I said, I like Hugie, but he hasn't done anything to indicate that he should be fighting for a world championship.

yeah fair enough suppose it would be a big step up for him. But i think it would be a good fight and if hughie loses its not the end of the world, got many years ahead of him

That doesn't make it OK. Fighters still need to work their way up the rankings. Joshua has had training wheels attached to his world championship. I am not looking to see either one lose but this is not a good win for Joshua or a smart fight for Hugie at this point.

whats so bad about it. Two young fighters, an olympic gold medalist and a world junior champ both unbeaten fighting each other. I'd much rather this than him fighting some bum

Will this be before or after his doping charge is determined?

                    Golovkin fans wouldn't understand.

You're wrong. I'm not happy about AJ fighting bums. As others already pointed out to you, Fury should have fought Whyte or at least someone with a pulse and earn this shot. Just because AJ is becoming a can crusher doesn't make it fair game for anyone to have a world title fight. We need standards.

I hope Hugie wins but I'm not down with this fight.
