Oh and do you think it's possible to appreciate different qualities among boxers. Arguing that it's illogical to like Bradley AND Mayweather is ludicrous. Here is one...I like Pacquiao, Mayweather, Cotto, Garcia, Ward, and Lomachenko. All for different reasons!
This. My good friend is Filipino and he'll be the first to tell you they are some of the most racist people toward blacks. Have you ever even looked at pac land and those sites? Back when Manny ducked the tests Floyd was getting called every kind of racist name there is.

No, he's not...but it's funny to watch he, his team, and better yet, his fans try to play the whole thing down lol.

          This is a fighter that
          a) came from a country few people on these threads have even heard of.
          b) had an outstanding amateur career - truly elite
          c) got into a ****ty contract and had his career stalled
          d) has been avoided forever - in Germany and in the US (Sturm, Martinez, Cotto, Canelo etc
          e) is an incredibly exciting fighter that brings people to the sport
          f) is unfailingly polite to his fans and his opponents
          g) fights overseas without a national fanbase that gives him a commercial advantage
          h) is now one of the biggest fighters in the sport
          i) is respected as an elite (top three) fighter by practically every professional fighter and coach

and yet people hate on the guy

I can only think of 4 explanations. The haters are:

          1) mentally ill - as in literally sick
          2) angry attention seeking trolls
          3) staggeringly ignorant casuals
          4) website owners stoking the fires to build audience

I'd love to run a poll to see what other people puzzled about this have to say.
Thanks for your pathetic analysis doctor ****head...can we move on now?

Yes, that's why you have filled it up completely by posting.

Why not make the fight for that kind of money? Here they are fighting a WW for 5 million or so, and he could've made double that already. He hides behind that unification bs.
A hoe is a hoe no matter what she is being called by her partner.. That was for Canelo btw..
Catch weights between weight divisions though ****, you can still make an argument but catch weights within the same weight division is a ***** move and I am not the one for it.. I personally am fine if GGG doesn't fight Canelo, except for money there is no career defining legacy there.. The legacy fights are Ward and guys/titles at 168.. If Canelo and GGG being in their respective divisions right now fought at a catch weight midway I have no qualms about it.. I am a GGG fan, but a fan of his resume.. Clock is ticking and K2 better pay up more money and get all the hoes ASAP..

I realize beating Canelo isn't career defining, but it's a fact that pretty much all ppv stars have made sacrifices to get to that level. Beating Canelo would put him in the main ppv spot, but he could no longer fights bums, or even b- level fighters. All ppv fights would have to have some intrigue to them.

I don't think golovkin can ever be the kind of ppv star Oscar, canelo, Floyd or Manny could be. However, that doesn't mean 8-10 million dollar paydays are out either.

I hate to break this to you, but the guy is never going to fight Ward. Why? Simply put, he CANNOT beat him. Fighting him would at least show that dare to be great in a fighter, but I think 175 in general is out of the question for him. He gets hit too much to go up 15 lbs and think he can eat shots like he does now (very foolish move I will add) and keep moving unless it's picking himself off the canvas.

I don't like catchweights either, but my point is, if you want to BE a name, you have to BEAT a name. Wade isn't gonna cut it.

As much I want to see GGG-Ward irrespective of what weight they fight.. I know Golovkin might very well lose but let's face it the TBE of the sport have been guys who have taken the risks and taken L in their career.. History has always been kind to Marciano - a small HW because of his 0, but they never put him up there with Joe Louis, Ali and other ATG..

As far as money is concerned, it's only in US and only recently people make a hue about how much a fighter makes and ppv and stuff.. Let me tell you, Wlad makes more than any other boxer you can think of except Flyod and the guy fights on regular HBO though his fights are telecasted on ppv in rtl..

We both knew Wade was a mandatory as ****ty as a boxer he was.. As I said before GGG cannot keep fighting guys he can easily knock over.. If your weight class don't want you then You got to move up sooner and face the big guys..

Hey, if he fights Ward, I'll sing the guys praises, losing to him is the worst that can happen, and that's not meant in a bad way, so you took the risk, you lost, but you gave it your best shot. On the off chance he were to win though...obviously he'd be on a whole other level, and then no one could say anything, especially if he went to 175 to do it. It would really be a win win situation.
