It's a bad fight but at least it's to lead into a Kovalev fight, which is one of the best fights in the sport of boxing. Because of that I give Ward a pass and no one will even remember this tune up fight as soon as he gets in the ring with Kovalev. It is what it is - a mismatch that is just a stay busy fight before a much bigger fight.

I am a Golovkin fan.

I would have liked to see him fighting Ward.
Win or loose it has to be a privilege fighting Ward, which is one of the best fighters out there today.
