“Until Manny makes his decision [on the financial terms], everything is just speculation,” Arum said to the Las Vegas Review Journal. “I’ve talked with Jessie, I know what it will require Jessie to fight, but everything is up to Manny, and I haven’t talked to Manny and I won’t until I get to the Philippines.”

So he's saying he's not going to pay Manny a lot of money for the fight. This might be the first time we hear Arum say Manny priced himself out of a fight

I really don't rate vargas, I remember watching him on an undercard a few years back going life and death with josesito lopez

Arum seems to be stuck between a rock and a hard place. To make his money off a Vargas fight he has to reduce Manny purse, fight at a cheaper location. Or, he can swallow his pride and negotiate in good faith with Broner. I bet he had a cow when Roach said no to Crawford.
