This fight exemplify fights are scored round. By round

Jones won but took a beating.

Never the same after n proved Jones could dig deep n pull out a fight. Showed a great chin too.
Jones definitely won more rounds, I don't give a crap what anyone says. Tarver was ******. He won the first two rounds easy then lost the next five because he wasn't doing shite.

Jones got wobbled badly in that fight, almost knocked out.

Roberto Duran-Vinny Pazienza I. Duran looked fine while Pazienza was swollen up and talked like his jaw was broken after the fight.

                The Maidana-Mayweather fights.

Jorge Linares- Antonio DeMarco nearly went the distance with Linares in the lead, but his face fell apart. Very odd fight.

The first Hearns-Leonard fight. Hearns looked fine after the fight whereas Leonard's eye was badly swollen and lead to a detached retina.

juanma took about as much punishment in a 5 year period as a fighter can take, in both victory and defeat.
He took an entire careers worth of punishment in the Mtagwa fight.

                    Arturo Gatti comes to mind

Also the Juan Manuel Marquez vs Manny Pacquiao 4 fight, Pac got dropped early but Marquez took the majority of the damage his face was gushing blood before knocking out Pac.
