I'm surprised this thread made it through the first 10 posts without some bumbling jackass making it about Golovkin. Gotta be faster than that, ******.

Anyway, as much as I want this fight to happen, isn't this cutting it a bit close? Ward would have about a month to rest before getting back to training camp and Kovalev wouldn't have much a break either. Pros typically fight once every 6 months. I have a sneaking su****ion this fight won't happen until February, which I have no problem with.

PPV boxers like Mayweather and Pacquiao fight about every 6 months/twice a year because they need fight build-up time and you don't want to showcase them too often. Ward and Kovalev haven't reached that level and the build-up for this fight has already begun.

Kovalev vs Ward is absolutely the best fight that can be made in boxing. Two unbeaten, Top 4 P4P boxers with contrasting styles getting in the ring with each other and some of you are upset about this?

They're not upset about the fight. This arguing is part of a ridiculous on-going race war that is getting ******er every day. These sites are overflowing with ignorance. Kovalev and Ward are both excellent boxers and nothing but respect to the winner. I personally can't wait for them to step in the ring with each other.

What we don't know about Beterbiev: How durable and effective is he vs a skilled moving target (he didn't go past round 7).
