so it is pac....among the three names given....
overall PPV buys. It's not even close. Floyd over every single fighter. But excitement I'd have to say Tyson. It's not even close

      there it is....crystal clear....

floyd and pac got the numbers....

floyd is not considered an exciting fighter....guess this is why op excluded him...

gatti and tyson got the excitement factor...but not really the numbers....

pac both have the excitement and numbers with him...

I have got to say Ali.. You always had this talk of town feel every time he fought and most of the fights people caught on radio if they couldn't be near the television.. Tyson was the sheer excitement of a knockout but everyone knew it would happen.. Ali's antics is what people raved about post fight..
I am not going by PPV numbers because you cannot compare Ali's or Foremans era to Floyds, it's just unfair..

I wasn't around during Ali's prime but the WORLD was fascinated with Tyson. I remember being a kid and the next Monday at school kids would talk about how quickly Tyson finished his opponent, even though we likely didn't see the fight and didn't even watch boxing. He was just a pop culture phenomenon and got people excited, even when they didn't follow boxing. Hell, he even had a hit video game.

The only other guy I think might compare is Ali but I was born in the late 70's so I don't know how excited people got.
