I love Lomachenko as a fighter. But he does not draw and he is not a ratings generator.

I don't blame fighters for being reluctant to play the B-side role against him. As a young fighter striving for greatness, Loma needs to play that B-side even against inferior fighters a la Mayweather/Gatti.

Lomachenko is Ukrainian not Russian... Basically Russia and the Ukraine are at war with each other... I don't think Russian state sponsored steroids are being supplied to athletes in countries that are enemies of Russia.....

I remember posting that I thought Lomachenko needed a few pro fights under his belt before taking on Salido.... I didn't think Lomachenko would know how to pace himself for 12 rounds vs Championship calibre opposition in his 2nd pro fight, especially in Texas versus a Texas fan favorite fighter with Cole as the referee....

It was a close fight... Salido kept hitting low and Lomachenko kept holding, poorly officiated... Lomachenko held back too much before letting go, almost knocked Salido out in the 12th....

I feel Lomachenko would punish Salido before knocking him out now.... Lomachenko has made the adjustments, the World is Oyster...

If Salido felt confident, why wouldn't he want another Title shot vs a fighter he's already faught ???
Getting paid is the name of the game... If he takes Lomachenko's belt, Salido can milk that puppy for millions with several title defenses while cashing out...
