Getting roughed up might just be the thing that jacks Loma up. I like him as a fighter but i don't know but it just feels like he wasn't made to handle a physical specimen who just constantly roughs him up and attacks. I think more or less, and it might sound ******, i think his narrow shoulders just never sat well with me in terms of his ability to fight a rough boxer.

But real talk. Pound for pound is an imaginary list where you have to use your imagination a little bit. It's not something that can be quantified with paper achievements. They are a factor but not THE factor. Sometimes you have to use the good ol eye test and my eyes tell me there are not 10 fighters better than Lomachenko and GGG. I don't care where in the 10 you place them but they both belong.

he is getting their but it cant be forgotten he has a loss to a guy no where near p4p elite...orlando salido
his skills are why I had him there before but i reconsidered. I'd like him to beat Pedraza, Corrales, or Vargas before putting him up there
never know if it was the style of salido or salido himself that was the issue
some great technicians become undone vs certain styles

He is high up in my top 10 pound for pound list and that's for damn sure. After just a hand full of pro fights he looks unbeatable at both 126 and 130 pounds. He has no real weaknesses and many great skills. He has fast hands and feet. He is a great smart boxer on offense and defense.Has good stamina and throws a lot of fast accurate punches in combinations every fight. He is fearless and he punches hard with both hands and can take a punch. What more does he need to be a top ten pound for pound boxer?

Salido is a damn good fighter and a hard fight for anyone. Loma wasn't quite ready for Salido who outweighed him by a large amount after coming in over weight. Salido fought a very rough and often dirty fight and got away with it. Remember that loss was his only 2nd or 3rd pro fight if my memory is accurate. I am confident he would win a clear ud over Salido in a rematch at either 126 or 130.Who can beat Loma at his best fighting weights of 126 to 130. Nobody can beat him at those weights in my opinion. If he jumps up to a weight class he doesn't belong in he could get beat that that is true for any fighter under heavyweight.

Loma is very far from being p4p top 10 but he can get there if he unifies titles at 130 and does a job at 135. I think it's likely that he'll skip 130 and just go to 135. If he can absolutely hammer a champ there, someone like Linares or Crolla then he gets ever closer, probably on the fringes of a top 15.
But all this p4p talk is a bit of rubbish because fighters should be aiming to be the best in their division and beating all the other guys calling themselves champion. The whole idea that a guy calls himself p4p or someone ranks him p4p and he isn't even the only title holder in his own division is a sad joke.

I think a little more seasoning with the pro style and facing the right guys like Vargas, Pedraza, etc. and he'll stamp his place.
he definitely has the skills
I think he needs to avenge his loss and beat a few top guys at 130 before he gets high marks
technique and skillwise he may be top 5
