What I am is someone who doesn't let his heart rule his head. Had golovkin proven himself vs elite competition, had he said that he wanted to be great and would take a cw fight with Canelo you prove it, or said look, I'll do whatever it takes to fight Ward and prove I'm a top tier fighter, then I'd have plenty of respect for him. He doesn't, he takes the path of least resistance. Have you noticed there's been an article about him either pumping brook up, or talking about fighting better competition almost everyday since he announced he was fighting a WW? Do you think that's coincidence?

You sound extremely emotional. I dont let my heart rule my head either. I'm not even a Golovkin fan, I'm an objective fan that's looking for a debate about facts. What I am is someone who doesn't let his heart rule his head. I asked you what those guys did to be better wins than world champs like Lemieux, Geale, and a guy who should have been a world champ in Murray.
Bute is old, and has just been caught on PEDS, Smith hasn't beaten anyone, the Dirrells are on the downfall.
Why should GGG fight Canelo at the CW? To make a mockery out of the belts? As for Ward, Ward would have a huge size advantage over Golovkin. Do you think Rigo ducked Lomachenko too? If you believe this, I understand your logic.Comment

Well, I know that Cotto @ 153 lbs is significantly smaller than golovkin, yet he was able to beat geale up completely. Everyone's excuse will be the catchweight, however, geale did not land a significant punch in the 4 rds the fight lasted. What does that say about golovkin? Does that say that Cotto is better, or does it say that Golovkin's added size over a 5'7.5 Cotto is why he stopped geale only 1 Rd earlier? You sound extremely emotional. Do I think that the Dirrell Bros would beat Murray, Lemieux, etc? Absolutely I believe they still could. I like Murray, but the truth is, he's not that great, he's a decent, durable guy, but his boxing skill is limited. Stevens already lost to Dirrell years ago, so that answers that.
I fully believe rigondeaux wants nothing to do with lomachenko btw. Why would he not take the fight? That's a different topic though.Comment

Listen to me boy, I may disagree with you but I'll die for what you belive in. You're totally entitled to spend your money on a bummy Middleweight fight. Where's Kell Brook ranked in the division though?.
If you're going to come on this forum and try to post your opinion of it being a 'great' match up, back it up with facts or at least a hypothesis. You come across like you're interning for Matchroom.Comment

Yea, Loeffler said that AFTER negotiations with Ward's team failed. Both fighters went in different directions. And it worked out for both fighters, with the possibility of that matchup still alive. Say what you want about GGG. But still talking about him is still talking about him. Hype or not, we're still all talking about him. They turned down the offer ****boy...so what difference does it make now?????
Again " Loeffler said his emailed reply to Ward’s camp was that if Ward was still at 168 pounds in early 2017, Golovkin would be pleased to consider the bout at that point."
This means triple asswipe DIDN'T WANT THE FIGHT...are you like dense or what?Comment

Here's my take,...I'm a GGG fan, and I'm also a fan of Kell Brook. I've enjoyed watching both fighters and seeing how their careers have developed thus far. When I first saw the fight announcement I was like "WTF,...ok cool,......I guess the Eubanks deal was going nowhere",....not really shocked about that to be honest. But if you sit back and look at the big picture, both of these fighters are just marketing their franchises while promoting this bout, and I see no problem with that at all. We can all ***** and groan about this match-up, but at the end of the day, it is what the promoters are giving us so there isn't much sense in complaining about it. And both guys seem thrilled about it so why kill their glory?!? Eff it, let them have at it.
Now to get back to the reality of the post/story,...the only GGG beaten fighter I see Kell dispatching is Daniel "the squealler quitter" Geale. Kell is a prime example of a fighter who keeps himself in top physical condition,....but so are most of the boxers GGG has annihilated on his path to total MW dominance. Kell has the ability to make this a competitive fight for a few rounds, but I don't think he will go much passed the middle rounds before he fades out. Golovkin is just that much better. If GGG uses that jab that Lemieux suffered constant torment from, then the end for Kell Brook may come even sooner.
Like it or not,...this is the fight we are getting, so we may as well embrace it and accept the fact that whatever we think, it is these two individuals who are stepping into the ring with one another and NOT us!!Comment
