Greetings.
I was a part of a conversation yesterday with a few Officials and a Hall of Fame Boxer (thankful to have that luxury). Long story short, the boxer was describing how he had mad respect for fighters who go out on their shield, something he'd done.
That being said, I have the utmost respect for those who go out on their shield in a loss squeak by.
At the end of the day, the choice is with the boxer but those willing to get knocked or take risks to knock someone out get my respect full circle.
Who are some of the fighters that you know are going to bring it!!!?
Thomas Williams went out on his shield against Stevenson.
Wladimir didn't go out on his shield.
Khan has done it. Steve Cunningham went out fighting earlier this year.
Win, Lose, or Draw, I like my fighters to go all out.
Though we haven't seen it yet, if GGG were in a situation I believe he'd go down swinging and not play it safe.
Donaire goes out on his shield.
