Brook isn't some little kid. He is a full grown world champion in his prime. Nobody bullied Brook into this fight. He asked for it after several top middleweights turned it down. It's easy to call GGG a coward from your computer but he is a great brave champion who fights the best middleweights who will sign the contract to fight. No middleweight would fight him so he said yes to a welterweight champion. Ward is a much bigger betting favorite to beat the poor quality smaller boxer he fights next than GGG is to beat Brook. Why aren't you complaining about that mismatch?

*** his size...what is his punch resistance like as a middle weight? That will be for more important than "Matching GGG Size"

That is an actually challenge...an achievement..something this 34 y/o 10 year pro so desperately needs.

Brook is no more of a threat than Khan was to Canelo.

You'd be crying if Saunders or Jacobs were fighting a damn Welterweight.

As to Brook I believe he fought a half dozen bouts at 154+ and did well holding that weight.

Is he a favorite NO but why ***** and moan about a fighter who wants to step up and challenge a dominant champion? The kid is undefeated as a welter and is willing to challenge!

You kids here do more crying and *****ing every move a fighter makes, give some credit and lets see if he can compete against a dominant force.

At 147 he is no doubt stressing out to get down there and at his age now he looks to be a 154-160 division fighter.

When Canelo continuously weighs in at 175 at bell time and refuses to meet GGG give Brook credit. GGG was after Eubanks and that kid disappeared!
            Brook took the contract......

Stop all the crying and this kid isn't coming in at 154 and GGG at 172 they'll be a few pounds difference.

The size difference is already more noticeable than I expected. I didn't think it would look too significant until the final week before the fight.

**** it though, let's do this Kell.

Golovkin is small for 160 and Brook is big for 147. They could both easily be career 154 lbers.

It's still a dumb fight though. Size isn't the problem.

Brook's career has been a strange one. Hes going directly from prospect-level fights at 147 to fighting the world's best middleweight with really nothing in between. At least fight a top 147 or average 154 first.

Khan had a long rich resume under his belt when he committed suicide against Canelo. Brook vs Golovkin makes no sense at all.

Looks like a small JMW, vs a small-average size MW.
