Furthermore, no one would be claiming Middleweight champion Golovkin "ducked" a Welterweight that I do not recall ever calling Golovkin out publicly.

There's no glory or respect for Golovkin in regards to him facing a Welterweight. Call it what it is, a pathetic money grab, high reward with low risk.
