exactly. If Mayorga pulls out and Oscar being ready from training camp, says he want this fight to happen no matter who the opponent is, then the fight should be free on regular HBO. Let's face it, the promoting was pretty one sided and it was Mayorga who did most of the job. No one would pay to see De la hoya fight a guy like Mitchell. -
I will pay $10 for it!Originally posted by $Manny_P$exactly. The only fight that I will pay $60 for at this time is Toney/Wlad. Because Wlad is getting on my nerves.

actually, having in mind that this is De la Hoya, you're right. He will not let this fight become free of charge. He'll probably just lower the price. He's such a money hungry whore eventhough he's rich already.Originally posted by Gunstar1I will pay $10 for it!

Indeed. Fighting Oscar is an opportunity of a life-time for Mitchell. De La Hoya's been inactive for 20 months and since Mitchell's style in no shape form or fashion resembles Mayorga's, he'd have an even better chance for an upset win than Ricardo does.Originally posted by chuckwatersMitchell is a smart man.
Now, all of that being said, if Ricardo does indeed pull out of this fight...his ass ought to be fined 2 million dollars for being such an *******. He knew the terms of the contract when he signed it. Once you commit to something, stick to it, if you don't agree with the price, don't commit. If he beats Oscar, more money opportunities are in front him. ****** Schmuck.Last edited by K-DOGG; 05-04-2006, 03:05 PM.Comment

F@ck if Mayorga pulls out that would be some bull****. I dont think this whole mitchell thing will happen though if it does it will just do further damage to our sport. Not that Mitchell is a bad fighter though, it would just **** everything up...Comment

At least Santos, Karmazin, Garcia, and Erdei are still fighting on Saturday. Who is Zsolt Erdei fighting anyways? Damn DLH and Mayorga will make this a perfect night of boxing.Originally posted by skeduleMay 6, 2006
