Maybe, but only for a couple of months.

Ward/Kovalev winner will obviously get the award.

If he's managed to beat Cunningham and Usyk in one year, I feel Krzysztof Glowacki should get an honorable mention too.

CW is the best division in boxing right now.

What why would winner of ward kov get it? Kov I understand a little bit but ward gonna have one good win only in 2016 if he beats kov. His other two wins are ok and ****.

Frampton have a good chance. Depends on who he fight next. Crawford might have a good chance too if he gets the pac fight and best him.

          ABSOLUTELY!!!

He might still fight once more in this year hopefully a home fight a domestic tear up with Selby or Warrington If he caps off a win against one of those two there is just simply no way anyone can compete with what Carl would have done.

Unifying world titles in a division against a 31-0 fighter, then moving up and winning a title against a 32-0 highly-regarded boxer is an impressive achievement.

I didn't say the winner should get it, I just said he will.

It'd be pretty naive to think otherwise.

so far yes. If one of ward or kovalev wins easy they might get it, or if brook beats GGG.

Still nearly half a year left but he's the front-runner as it stands. Even if we get a decisive winner in the Kovalev-Ward bout I still think Frampton deserves a long look.

In his hometown as well and in his first ever fight in that division.

                    Tough to match that.
