  • GOD knows I've ARGUED for Rig. since day 1!!! But For ever 2-5 seconds he STOMPS a guy, he spends 2:95 making it look like a sht fight! It seems like EVERY time he KO's or DESTROYS an opponent EVERYONE is doing something else...

      • Rigo put himself in that position i believe he was capable of taking out every opponent he has faced.

You're exactly right. A lot of these fighters today are a sad bunch of embarrassing cowards. A Rigo/Frampton fight would sell just as much as a Frampton/Santa Cruz fight did. For some reason, these days we have this phenomenon where labeling a fighter as boring is a good way of avoiding the toughest challenges and not get criticized for it.

Long before Rigo, Mayweather was label as being such a boring fighter, but that didn't stop his sells one bit.

Still a bit(h move ducking him but you can't act like Rigo doesn't bring some of this on himself.
Ring generalship. If Carl can control the ring and dictate the fight that's what greats do. He doesn't believe in his own ability at the top and ducking one of the best I can't respect that. And if another top fighter said that especially if he was black he would get crucified for openly ducking like that.

              Especially if he was black?

              *sigh*

Carl seems to lack belief in himself (or at least his team do) as it pertains to this fight. I can't change that. Not gonna stop loving the way he fights because of that.

Don't see why I have to respect someone to enjoy their boxing anyway but whatever. You guys take this way too serious.

Carl bit(hed out, it is what it is. If it happens I'll pick him to win.

Rigo's only boring fight was Agbeko. I had friends who aren't into boxing watching the Donaire fight with me saying "that guy's nice who's he?"

Bob Arum was just pissed about Donaire getting taken to school and started a smear campaign against Rigondeaux and put him in a bad fight with his guy Agbeko.

I always show highlights of him to my friends, but he has been in really bad fights, the agbeko and also the undercard of cotto canelo.

                  • Ok...so you're 29, already rich, and you're like... "I'm not going to fight a guy JUST for ONE million dollars!" That's the fighting spirit...

I can respect your stance. But it's a shame we might not see this fight if this is the main reason
