You guys can talk all you want about duck this and duck that, but every fighter does a risk/reward scenario - every single one of them.
But should we be happy about this situation?
Mayweather's path killed this sport since everybody accepted this behaviour.
Too much business effect kills the sport.

Rigo is an amateur boxing legend (twice olympic gold medalists), he beat someone of Donnaire caliber.
He's a proven freak of boxing and he's a great boxer, LSC is a good fighter.
Frampton has holes in his games, and IMO, Rigo would make him look bad.

Donaire was SEVERELY overrated. He's also the ONLY decent win on Rigo's resume. Not good, not great, not HOF. Decent. Rigo's other opponents barely cracked top50.
Rigo was also knocked down by Donaire, as he was also knocked down by several other very low ranked fighters.
People talk about Rigondeux based on the word of mouth and not what exists in real world. He's not Floyd's heir apparent defensively, his resume has 1 great win and nothing else. And in that 1 win, he did not 'school' Donaire, it won a clear decision while getting knocked down.
In my book, moving up and beating clear #1 in LSC is a better win than beating an overrated, small 36 year old Rigo.

Rig. Is Rig. Own enemy! He's fighting BUMS and making it look way boring because he treats everyone like world class boxers. He gets boo'd and after a few rounds ppl start going to get more drinks, get on phone, or leave....FACT. And I'm a fan of his.
