rigo playing hardball by not going to 126 or even 130 where there are money and legacy fights.
I would love to see Rigo/Frampton at whatever weight. I'm just saying that Frampton didn't need to inject "business" (which the reporter was gearing him towards, judging by how he began the question) into the discussion. There's no need to insult our intelligence; we can deduce by his team's comments why the fight won't happen, so don't even play into it. Fans will always tolerate avoiding/ducking if we're provided with reasonable alternatives:Frampton vs. LSC/Russell/Selby/Cuellar. According to Frampton's logic, Rigo moving up to 126 wouldn't make a difference. The only person that seems willing to face Rigo (who's from a higher weight class) is Loma.
Two counter punchers that'll make for visual ambien like a mutha.
Most of us predicted Donaire/Rigo would turn out to be boring because of their styles, but it actually wasn't that bad. Rigo didn't engage enough though. Rigo seems to be moving less and less with each fight, which will hopefully lead to more entertainment. With Rigo, who knows? He's partly to blame for the politics rearing their ugly head against him and maybe he'll start to change the tide of negativity against Flores. He's doesn't have much time.
Frampton is ducking, but if he changes his mind and gives Rigo 500k and Rigo agrees and moves up to the full 126 then i except Rigo fans to also call him a duck and coward for ducking Loma.
These dudes are straight *******. How do these punks have fans? Like if you are that good cut off the ring and beat him.
Well that is kinda a part of why Frampton probably doesn't want the fight. Carl isn't a front foot fighter. He's a counter puncher. Rigo won't lead so Carl will be forced to initiate everything because Rigo doesn't know how to attack. Still a bit(h move ducking him but you can't act like Rigo doesn't bring some of this on himself.
So now, fighters aren't true competitors anymore, 122-126 Rigo is the best.
A true competitor wants to fight the best.
LSC didn't want to fight Rigo, now, Frampton doing the same.
"If I fight Rigo, the fight will be boring and I will be seen as a boring fighter"
No, no Carl, he would box your ears off, and that's for this reason your 0 would disappear and your stock would fall.
And yes, you perfectly knows that.
Both just need to shut up and get on with their careers. Frampton is building a terrific resume and Rigo should...you know, press on and fight someone worth a damn.

No, no, they just should fight each other for the sake of boxing.
Should we accept the best aren't facing each others after the Nelo-GGG debacle?

Actually those 2 go hand in hand. If he wins, he'll gain almost nothing as he's already a P4P fighter. If he loses, you're right, his 0 disappears and his earnings potential would fall - which is exactly what he's talking about. Fighting Rigo is a high risk/no reward fight.
You guys can talk all you want about duck this and duck that, but every fighter does a risk/reward scenario - every single one of them.
