After rewatching the Vargas vs Trinidad fight earlier this week. I can honestly say that Fernando Vargas would beat Canelo.... Vargas was knock down twice in the 1st round but showed incredible heart and determination by getting up and making it all they way to the 12th round before being KO'ed by Tito. I'm a Nelo fan but Tito would of finished him within the first 6 rounds. Fernando doesn't get much credit but the dude dared to be great multiple times at such an early age. After the Tito fight Vargas career started going downhill but there's no denying that if his promoter Katy Duva would of brought him up slowly instead of throwing him in there with the wolf early in his career he might of been a HOF.
