    Frampton Fighter of the Year?

First Quigg and now Santa-Cruz. Both guys were undefeated champions with more than 30 wins under their belts. Back to back performances. This is truly special. Cong**** to the Jackal!

It's looking like it. It really depends on whether Crawford lands a big, meaningful fight before the year's end. If we get Bud vs Pacquiao and Bud takes it, then without a doubt in my mind Crawford would take that title. However, thus far in the year...yes, Frampton is ahead of the game.

Yeah, I said it a little earlier.
Frampton is the clear front runner for fighter of the year and it's going to be difficult to beat him out of it.
Especially if Frampton gets one more fight to end the year. It doesn't even have to be against anyone too dangerous. Just one title defense would be enough.
He has traveled in both his fights to defeat two (undefeated) champions and moved up a weight division for this fight.

Not to mention that he was the underdog against Santa Cruz.

Maybe. Never been sold on LSC myself but it's definitely a solid win but I think whoever wins Kovalev vs Ward assuming it happens this year will win it, as it would be the most significant win I can think of in 2016.

Also depends on what happens with Ward-Kovalev. If that fight ends in a stoppage, the winner asserts themselves as #1 P4P and likely takes FOTY off that fight alone.

Quigg win is way overrated by the way. Quigg's best win going into the fight was a shot Kiko Martinez.

Pretty sure winner of Kovalev-Ward will get it.

Quigg is pretty good though. He hits hard and has great stamina. I don't think anyone will get an easy night with Quigg, win or lose. I think the top fighters would beat him though, he just falls a little short of that top level.
