As much as I would like to claim Mexican style... I am Mexican.

I want to re name it...

    Being a ****ing man.

it is not exclusive to Mexicans. Many fighters have a warriors heart...

    Many boxer's have a ballerina's tutu.

    It is what it is.

Ukraine and Cuba have the most beautiful styles.

        Americans are the most efficient.

This is a sport not a toughman contest

Mexican style is nothing but cannon fodder for the American Style.
The best and biggest money makers in the sport never fought the Mexican Style.

          ODLH - No Mexican Style

          Floyd - No Mexican Style

          Manny - No Mexican Style

          Cotto - No Mexican Style

          Canelo - No Mexican Style

Fighting to prove how tough you are instead of displaying your abilities to neutralize your opponent's best attribute(s) is dumb. Competitive bouts breeds excitement not b*tch fighting (cat fighting). This is a sport not a toughman contest

No its not running its course. Boxing history is synonymous with great mexican fighters. Top fighter in the world Gennady Golovkin bases his whole style on 'mexican style'. Yes the style can sometimes be vulnerable against a world class slick defensive fighter, but fans can look past a loss in which the other fighter was basically playing tag and run.

Santa Cruz didn't expect the hard counter punches from Frampton. This changed verything in the fight.
