Wlad was the longest reigning heavyweight champ of recent years and pretty much swatted aside one challenger after another. No one could match him.
So why not?
I've come to the realization that Wlad was fighting soft competition. Look what happened with him an Fury, a guy his size. He went into a shell. I'm convinced any heavyweight with grit would wax Wlad on any given night.

Oh wow, you are are a genius. Yes, we all know he was champion in a weak era for the division but a low level heavyweight is still more dangerous than any fighter on the planet. These are huge men who can all punch and even among this era, there have been fighters of quality, Haye, Povetkin, Pulev, Peter and Chageav.
Not just that, Wlad was THE guy and took on the best challengers and for the majority of his career was the only true champion in the whole of boxing and presided over a largely unified division.
If he isn't p4p for that alone then no one deserves to be.
