Comments Thread For: Paulie Malignaggi: I'd Love To End My Career in Brooklyn

Paulie Malignaggi has been uncertain for some time about whether to retire. He's stepped away before, then returned, then repeated the process. The concussion he suffered in a stoppage loss to Shawn Porter in 2014 damaged him enough that it took more than a year until he had a fight signed, though that bout with Danny O'Connor was canceled. Instead, he returned last August, nearly a year to the day, losing to Danny Garcia and feeling as if he wasn't himself in the ring.

So I should be rooting for Paulie to get KTFO?

Paulie should just call it a career. There is lil to be gained for him in the ring now. It would seem his money is alrite. He gots the Showtime gig. He gots his podcast. He does freelance UK ****. He gots businesses & property. Why still getting hit in the head? Initially you get hit in the head to get into a position like he's in so why is he continuing exactly? Chasing dreams he'll never catch again. He had a solid career. He should be happy with his accomplishments.

I'd love for someone to end your career in Brooklyn. It seems that what Porter did to you in the ring wasn't enough. Is time for a boxer to leave you paralyzed, or at least unable to talk. This man is a hypocrite, a whiner, and a Memo costumer. Nothing positive to look at.
