GGG's best opponent has been Curtis Stevens. Enough said. Let's stop acting as if Canelo or GGG have much of a choice in who they fight. Do you guys think their promoters aren't gonna milk both of them for what their worth?? The fight WILL HAPPEN but not before they get as much as they can from the Liam Smiths and 147 pounders vying for middleweight titles of the world. It's a business before anything else. Golden boy and whatever commie comapny reps The "good boy" know they both have something to lose in that fight. Hence, the date sometime in 2017.

Canelo "chicken" Alvarez did duck GGG, and what a shameful decision it was when he vacated the WBC belt. He has no right to bash GGG opponents after inviting him in the ring and saying he would fight him next just to retrack later on is already shameful to the proud Mexicans...

And this is why most boxing fans have lost respect for him. He wants to criticize ggg's record as an excuse to not fight him but what exactly have Kirkland, khan and Liam Smith done that makes them more deserving than ggg? Everyone knows he's scared and the more he talks the dumber he looks.

Canelo is a embarrassment to Mexicans

Mexicans have always been my favourite fighters to watch

Renound for being absolute warriors that will fight anyone anywhere

              Nelo is a dipsheet diva

Stop embarrassing yourself, Canelo. You vacated the belt to avoid fighting a 'nobody'.

... Canelo simply couldn't compromise his rank by fighting a 'nobody'...

Speaking the truth. Canelo has earned his spot in the game. Fighting Trout was a real risk. He loses that fight and the Floyd fight goes away. His promoter didn't want him to take the fight. Lara was a high risk low reward fight. He took it to shut his big mouth.
With GGG, he understands that the fight only happens on his terms. GGG got his belt and what did it do for him? He is the B side having to go across the pond to fight a welterweight with one decent win on his resume.
The fight will happen when GGG and his team realize they won't dictate anything. Weight, split, venue, nada. I understand the hate he got for dropping the WBC strap but as someone who negotiates contracts for a living (albeit on a much smaller scale) I get where Canelo is coming from. GGG is a damn good fighter, but he is not a star and his PPV numbers and him having to travel show it.

I can only assume Canelo doesn't really mean what the printed word is making it out to sound like. The fact that he just dumped the middleweight belt to fight the easiest light middleweight and to then move back up again to fight for another middleweight title against the easiest belt again!! FFS, if that isn't running what the f*** is. I would rather he just admitted he isn't ready for GGG yet and leave it at that.
