I can't believe this guy is still talking with a straight face. Literally handed the belt to Golovkin rather than fight and then hand-picked Smith, and he says he never ran from Golovkin. That's pure delusion, or just plain old lying.

And that's the big difference between the two - Canelo has the luxury of fighting anyone he wants because he's a popular red haired Mexican whereas Golovkin doesn't have that luxury, he had to get passed by four middleweights before settling for Brook. Golovkins first choice was Canelo, then Saunders, Jacobs and Eubank. Canelo? He went right after Smith and of course got it.

Why do GGG and Adonis Stevenson get a pass to fight a lot of no hopers? Yet Andre Ward and Canelo get ****? Both ward and canelo have fought the top flight people in their divisions and (for the most part) beat them. You fanboys let these writers dicatate who you should like. GGG's best opponent has been Curtis Stevens. Enough said. Let's stop acting as if Canelo or GGG have much of a choice in who they fight. Do you guys think their promoters aren't gonna milk both of them for what their worth?? The fight WILL HAPPEN but not before they get as much as they can from the Liam Smiths and 147 pounders vying for middleweight titles of the world. It's a business before anything else. It's funny to suggest Canelo works for Golden Boy and not the other way around, implying Canelo has no control. Truth is, Golden Boy will do what Canelo tells them because they have to. If Canelo told them make the Golovkin fight after he beat Khan, it would happen. When Canelo told them to make the Lara fight when Golden Boy was making excuses not to fight Lara, they made it happen . Canelo isn't some up and comer where the promoter invested money and is trying to turn a profit, he's a huge star with his own company and product who calls his own shots. Golden Boy works for him.

And if that happened you have one person and one person to blame for that - Canelo. He agreed to fight Golovkin after an extension thst he was given, with the entire premise of course of fighting after. He then notified Golden Boy hrs dropping the belt and told them to look for anotjer opponent.

If Canelo would have told GB to make the Golovkin fight , it would happen. He's not a puppet, he calls the shots, he has his own brand, own company, etc.
