Stevenson can't handle a pressure fighter with a chin. Kovalev is a pressure fighter but he has no chin. That's what makes that fight exciting. Too bad it will never happen. 50/50 fight.

You have footage of the shot Boone landed on Kovalev? That's right you don't. You can't assume Boone landed the same power shot that he landed on Adonis.

Edit: I'm not saying Kovalev doesn't have a better chin but you can't base it off of that IMO.

They need to figure out a way to get Stevenson involved with Kovalev-Ward before he gets too old! For all his flaws, the man has deadly hands at the very least, as once again proven tonight, but his time is running out.

His power is legit which will always make him a dangerous opponent to anyone, but he's getting close to being ranked #3 at 175 (as soon as Kovalev vs Ward happens), which is a weird situation being that he is the true lineal champ! It's so weird that another guy in the division has all the belts and Stevenson was even stripped of the Ring Belt because his opponents have been so weak, in fact this is the best opponent he's fought in like two years. His team is failing him, or perhaps he is to blame. Whatever the case, I don't care, I just want to see these guys fight each other before it gets too late.

True. Williams is on par with the Pascals, and Chilembas of the world. However the one thing we as fans can look forward to is a super fight between Kovalev and Ward. Assuming Ward wins next week.

With Stevenson he could go back to beating boarder line contenders again instead of fighting Legit Top 10 Light Heavyweights.

Pascal is a washed up super middleweight bodybuilder, and Chilemba is feather fisted guy from Africa, yeah, solid chin and tricky but possesing no threat because he doesn't have the power to keep his opponents honest. Willimas is a good young talent with some power in his punches

Kovalev offered Beterbiev a fight some time ago, but it was Beterbiev's team who declined the offer

He's not yet ready for Kovalev or Stevenson. Not to mention both Haymon and Yvon don't want yet to rush Beterbievs development.

Give him till this time next year and he will probably get a title shot.

My guess Beterbiev gets the likes of Cleverly, Dawson, or Rodriguez next.

True but Williams has a glass jaw and the Top fighters in this division mostly have explosive power. Williams doesn't have where with all to resist that kind of power.

He has zero head movement or the slightest concept of defense.

The why noboddy can put him in danger? Why noboddy can effectively hit him enough to make him stop throwing punches? His opponent look like sandbag agaisn't him.
