how would you rank challengers to the champion?

If i could create an association id call it the BID association BEST IN the DIVISION, and rank my fighters by how many wins they have how man losses and whove they lost to, how quick, what round and how: to start off: I would also have a tourney to crown the champ, and then his manditories would be the MOST POPULAR FIGHTERS, followed by the best challengers for him and also the most promising etc if that makes sense, it makes sense to me1

Sounds like a awesome division but none of the boxers will agree to it. Seems like alot of guys chose to pick on guys way off the ladder.

well obviously you gotta rank your opponents on there record and not there marketability - <---- is that a word?
also the guy has gotta proof hes worthy of the title shot unlike floyd mayweather or in that case ricky hatton , jumping a division walking straight into the title fights
