I think some people confuse rough housing with DIRTY. what hatton does is the same thing hagler did, same thing foreman did. They rough you up, they tire you out by bullying and physically manhandeling you around the ring. A dirty fighter is someone who uses a tactic to injure the other fighter outside of the rules. Dirty is when you mean to headbutt, you mean to low blow, you mean to bite, you mean step on their toes. I don't see how hatton is dirty at all, with the 1 exception of his low blow vs. Kostya, which he fully deservedComment

Sam peter is pretty damn dirty, he pretty much exclusivly punches people in the back of the head. Doesn't get DQ for it but it ****s you up, long to recover. Its cheap.

since i just commented on an article about this guy, i will throw him in here as well - sam peter for rabbit punching in every fight. every fight.
i only remember hatton being overly dirty in the tszyu fight, so i'm not sure if i would lump him in there with some of the dirtiest fighters of the last few years.
remember andrew golota. maybe he couldn't help it, but his highlite reel of nut shots is something to cringe at.
lennox lewis was a fairly dirty fighter as well.
the human windmill, no doubt. he was involved in one of the dirtiest, bloodiest fights i can recall. sadly, i don't remember exactly who he was fighting at this moment.Dirtiest. Well, Harry Greb was rough as was Sandy Sadler...

Im not talking about just Wlad, Ive seen a couple of his fights and I have never seen a boxer punch people in the back of the head so many times. You cannot punch people in the back of the head three times and not learn your doing something wrong. Boxers are supposed to keep their heads down, it prevents their opponet from getting a clean shot at the chin. Wlad wasn't crotching on his knees staring at the canvas dont try to play it off as he was.Comment

I'm saying it wasn't Peter's fault that Wlad got KD 3 times. Wlad's head was going everywhere. It was down on Peter's croth section, it was on the side of Peter's hips, etc. And Peter throws overright hands, so what is to expect? Saying Peter is a dirty fighter is something a guy who knows nothing about boxing would say. And the fact that Hoes is the only person that named Peter as dirty speaks for itself (stick to MMA).Originally posted by aljon
