  • by "TBE race" did you mean ATG status?

because TBE will always be Ali imo.

i already rank pacquiao above floyd for all of his accomplishments. and yes, beating crawford would only catapult him even higher over floyd.

can't help but wonder what it would look like if the baseball bat was in between the two fighters while floydie is giving pac a perverted lover's hugs.....

might be like two grown ups fighting over a very large hot dog....ha ha ha ha...

and still, why you guys can not help inject jmm in a topic between pac and floyd needlessly is beyond me.....

jmm's glory is floyd's glory?.....hmmm....i think i just read this somewhere else...no intention to own this beautiful short punch...
The comment was mostly about Nacho. Mayweather beat Marquez so thoroughly that neither Nacho nor Marquez ever wanted a rematch.

Floyd doesn't need JMM's glory. He beat both Pac and Marquez. But what Floyd fans do like to point out is that Floyd was never knocked into outerspace. And that wasn't because of running or hugging. It's because of his skill-level and chin. Don't know how it can be argued otherwise.

Two grown men fighting over a large hotdog??? lol. You went a bit too far there :P

Don't feel bad that I don't understand. No one understands. Teddy Atlas sure as hell didn't seem like he understands that thinking, does he? Pacquiao's shoulder was no excuse. When you go into a fight 100% healthy, as he claimed he did, whatever happens in the ring....that's boxing! You don't get to say it's tainted or controversial because your body is breaking down or you once upon a time had an injury. If he hurt his shoulder by swinging and missing, by hitting Floyd in the shoulder, by Floyd punching him in the shoulder, whatever....that's boxing!!! I recall tons of times when Mayweather hurts his hand, and Roger telling him things like, "Well Floyd, you're here now" (ie. Suck it up), or "Ok, just go to the body." If he would have lost these fights, I know damn well you wouldn't say the loss was controversial!
LMFAO.....You still dont understand? heheheheheheeee I swear out of 12 yrs of being on this site...You have taken front runner in the dumbest mother***er i have ever came across. And trust me ive seen many. They dont last long though. lol

Let me ask you a question...What makes a fight controversial? Name several if you can. Im sure a smart guy like yourself can help me out with this...

Sure I can help you out. Obviously you need some help.

How about Roy Jones in the 1988 Olympics. That was controversial, no?

Now what you're saying is that Cotto/Margarito 2 was controversial, rightt??? This is exactly what you are saying. It was stopped because of Margarito's eye, from what I remember. Same eye that was damaged by Pacquaio.

So was that fight controversial? Yes or no? Would love to hear your answer.

Sorry, you did say several. Another one just jumped into my head.

Ali vs. Liston 2. That was controversial.

              And another....Whitaker vs. Chavez

I want to hear your account of Cotto vs. Margarito 2.

but i think to use controversy to describe a win is really misplaced....

an injury to an opponent somewhat put a dent on a win, but to say it is a controversial win is, sorry to say, for me, really stretching it too far.....the win may be diminished....but not controversial......just saying...
You..as a fan are watching a fight...Lets say Mike tyson Vs Frank Bruno. Tyson twist his ankle and cant bob and weave or put any pop on his punches. Frank Bruno catches him with a shot and knocks Tyson out. The question is here...Would you think Tyson was gonna gonna lose that fight or get KOd for that matter? No you wouldnt have thought that. Nobody on earth thought Bruno had a chance...so ill answer it for you. So being that Tyson was hurt and ultimately was the reason Bruno got a shot in that ended the night, fans around the world would have seen and knew that had Tyson not got hurt it would have or may have been a different story....Whats that say to you? No matter how you look at it...it created controversy in the win and loss for both fighters. The fans are gonna want to see a rematch.

note: for the ******s unable to provide common sense...the Tyson Bruno example was hypothetically speaking.

Funny you mention Mike Tyson. Didn't he break his leg in the Danny Williams fight? Has anyone ever called that a controversial loss?

How about Pac vs. Bradley? Were they controversial fights because Bradley kept ****ing up his ankles and calves? Please let us know, bro!

In your opinion why was Ali Liston ?

I too thought Pernell won that fight....but we can go on for years on controversial decisions like that or robberies. Bradley Pacquiao 1...

What race lol, one cat is retired and the other is on the way out. There just isn't any opponent out there significant enough to change his resume at this point, and like someone else said, Floyd bodied him already. Besides, neither one is close to being the actual GOAT anyway, anyone who thinks so is a casual.
