Why isn't Crawford vs Floyd ever mentioned?

Agreed, he had to wait 6 years to fight Pacquiao why in hell would he fight Terence Crawford who could give him a lot of problems?Even if Mayweather wasn't retired, when was the last time he took on a legitimate opponent?
It was Pacquiao in May of 2015, following a year of fighting Maidana and then years of fighting Guerrero and Ortiz.
Pacquiao in the mean time fought p4p entrant JMM, p4p entrant and top 3 welter Bradley 3 times (hammered him all 3 times, closing out his career).
Mayweather v Crawford just isn't within the realms of plausible reality.
Mayweather isn't known for fighting the best that's why he won't ever be considered an ATG by real fans of boxing.Comment

So according to your logic a man losing a fight means they aren't in their prime anymore? So I guess everyone in America who Pac ever fought fought OUTSIDE his prime right?Fought Judah after he lost how many times?
Fought Judah when he was on a losing streak too lol.
Corley fought him when he was on a losing streak.
Ndou lol
Diego Corrales was the only one he had fought in his prime?
He ducked a prime Shawn Porter, Shane Mosley and Kell Brook all recently lol!

Why does a suppose to be THE BEST EVER fight guys coming off a loss?
Shouldn't he target a fighter who is on hot form... ???
It's pretty funny you can't even really make excuses up for him.Comment

Not according to Floyd doe:
"People said I was scared, a coward, to fight Manny Pacquiao. Everyone can have their own opinion. I always said, 'If it's meant to happen, it'll happen: At one particular time, that fight was worth $60 million. I waited until the time was right, when things were on my terms and we were the A side and we could do things our way, we turned that into a $600-million fight'
Retired former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26KOs) completely backs the recent decision by Golden Boy Promotions to push back a potential mega-fight between Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin.

It's not one I'd be interested in really, I don't think Crawford can do anything with Mayweather unless age struck.Comment

please spare me, it came out of roaches and arums mouth, the fact is team pac walked away in 2009 due to the testing that they agreed to in 2015 (the same one), now was Floyd responsible for some BS that prevented the fight after that??? absolutely. both sides were... but please don't start sending all the articles n quotes Floyd says all kinds of sht and contradicts himself all the time. the fact remains the fight didn't happen in 2009 because of team PAC. its not that hard to just admit it manNot according to Floyd doe:
