I met Abel way back when at Tocco's. He was training Terry Norris at the time. Even back then he thoughtful, intelligent and dignified; Abel's always been a class act.

I would consider this Brook fight a one-time thing with welterweights. You have a couple listed there

Who else should his promoter have picked to fight out of people that were available? And remember, he doesn't pick opponents, it's his team that is responsible for finding opponents.

Really Kell Brook is a JMW not a WW.....

I think people forget Kell Brook was bigger that Porter and was able to muscle him. That's because Brook is a junior middle weight in actuality. Really he's moving up one weight class which is why I think he took the fight and will be moving down to super welterweight after the GGG fight. I've been a critic of GGG however I have no issue with this fight only because of Brook's "true size."

He weighs 156lbs on fight night. That's much less than Porter and Maidana, or Baldomir, or Margarito, or even Errol Spence.

                Stop talking bull here.

Porter was 158, Brook was 156.
