What is taking DeGale Badou so long to be announced? If Golovkin can't get Canelo, Saunders (probably fighting each other) Jacobs (hopefully WBA orders this) then DeGale in England would be a big fight after this one. But I don't think the winner will be ready by December unless they announce the fight soon.

In April the Jack/DeGale fight was thought to be going to the UK, then Mayweather gave an interview in May saying:

"We look forward to coming over there and having a great relationship with everyone over in the UK and bringing championship boxing to the highest heights. If it makes money, it makes sense."

In early June DeGale said he heard the fight's being moved to Vegas. Two weeks after that they announce w/o reason that the fight was being pushed back to November. Now last week, Steve Kim reported the rumor DeGale's asking for $5mill. Take out of all that what you will.

The WBC has given Jack until September to announce the fight, otherwise it's mandating the Callum Smith fight. So they have about a month to come to an agreement, which I hope they don't b/c that leaves DeGale w/o a big fight and more likely to go after a Golovkin fight in December.

This is all BS GGG has said repeatedly he won't go up until he has the WBO belt. So whatever the f*** Saunders is doing right now is holding up a division. I would love to see DeGale fight GGG their is a challenge with Ward at 175 now. DeGale is the man at 168. Brook is merely helping GGG break into the UK scene.
