I hate for fights to "marinate" longer than they should. As much as I want to see this fight, I don't think it would sell very well. Crawford needs a better win against a better opponent. The PPV sales will reflect that. Manny needs leverage by having a belt before this fight. Both achievable in 1-2 fights more.

Thread title is so, so misleading. Fails to say he'd take the fight after a warm up fight. He wants Manny to fight him right after he has a fight, so he's warm. Not coming off a 6-8 month layoff.

I don't think it's misleading at all. I'm a big Manny fan but he'll fight Mayweather in the fall, but needs a fight or two before Crawford? C'mon! It's obvious they don't want a Crawford loss to derail their goal, a Mayweather rematch.

Roach said not right away, because of the confusion surrounding Pacs political career and having to travel back and forth between America and the Philippines. he clearly states that if they had a chance of having 2 fights in between then yeah, the Crawford fight makes sense.





The reality however is Pac or Arum chooses the next opponent, Roach just likes to act he does.

Roach is deadweight, he knows he cant teach his fighters to cut off the ring, instead of being negative why not just let pac go, you held him back for years man, this negative energy from roach. Other trainers will have confidence in their fighters and abilities no matter what, roach knows he cant train for chit and just got lucky with pacquiao. Pac will lose to crawford, because of the movement, the best way to counter a mover is to begin the fight running away first to set the tempo, if roach were a good trainer he would have set that up, roach is overrated he is nothing more than an ego maniacal blowhard who strategy is to talk trash before fights and do litttle strategy in the ring
