Wow it took Boo boo Andrade to be the one to finally mention the main factor in this match up. Defence. Kovalevs power means nothing if he cannot land consistently because hoping for a one shot victory against Ward is not realistic. Andre Ward is a bigGerman heavier Mayweather. Fights very cerebral and prefers the win to the knockout. Everybody knows Wards game, make it boring if you need to but get the W, so there is no pressure on him to press the action. Kovalev is the heavy K.O. puncher that's knocking everyone out and the tslk has been that Kovalevs power and pressure will be tpmoo much and will break Ward. So all the pressure will be on Kovalev to push and be the aggressor looking for the stoppage victory. This all plays into Wards hands I believe.

If Kovalev shows up like he did against chillemba than it will be hard to see him beating Ward. However, I think Kov gets better when the comp is also good.

I think both will be better than we've seen them recently. In Ward's defense, he's been readily inactive. And I think the tune-ups are gonna sharpen him up and have him primed for Kovalev. In Kovalev's defense, he has to be tired of the tupe-up fights. He could get up for the Pascal rematch because he didn't like the guy. But this last one, in Russia, had to be a bit draining on him mentally. He knows what he's facing in Ward, and he'll be ready.

Andre Ward will beat the caveman clumsy Kovalev easily

Kovalev cannot beat Andre Ward and will look ****** slow and clumsy in trying to hit Ward. Ward is so far superior as a boxer than Kovie it's comical to compare them.

Yes indeed because its no way u throw those punches at ward without being countered, ur not going to land 2-3 punch combos on ward either, this will be a very interesting fight, Ward will win a decision Kov will hurt him but he will adjust

The biggest problem for Kovalev is that he's actually not a 1 punch KO artist like some people think - he got power in his hands, but he need to land a good combination to hurt his opponent. And it's extremely difficult to land a good clean combination when you're dealing with Ward
