Crawford more Pernell Whitaker than Floyd

Crawford IMO is more like Sweet Pea not Floyd because of his offense and Sweet Pea was more aggressive in that regard. I think Crawford calm demeanor with a veiled mean spirit is like Whitaker. No doubt Bud is showing that he may indeed be a special fighter.

Bud and Money May are two totally different fighter. They have some similarities like there ring IQ and ability to adjust on the fly but aren't the same style fighter. Floyd is a great fighter in his own right and Crawford is on his way to being a great fighter.

        LOL wut?

your post is BS. lmfaaoooo roy jones jr. didnt look awkward playing ball. that's because he was a naturally talented athlete.

if you look smooth playing basketball that hits on a lot of athletic output markers, you are a naturally gifted athlete.

manny looks horrid playing ball, floyd does too but not as much.

height has nothing to do with looking good in playing bball llmfaaoo its how skilled you are and how talented you are as an athlete in congruence with the amount of fast twitch muscle fibers you have.

basketball smoothness and ability is a great indicator great natural athletic talent.

roy was more athletic than floyd in the boxing ring and it shows in his basketball game.

floyd like i said is not that great of an athlete. even in his prime, the way he evades punches is different from someone say like pernell whitaker, a naturally gifted and talented athlete.

floyd either ran, clinched, or used proper boxing technique to defend while pernell used his ungodly reflexes to PLAY defense. The way he made his opponents miss with his head movement and footwork shows the different kind of athletic output floyd produced.

when was the last time he switched stances and spent a good amount fighting from the southpaw stance? not talking about no 5-10 sec interlude either....im talking about competently staying and fighting using both offense and defense from the other side.

Sure because Floyd struggled with a midget that was like 2 weight classes below his size like Crawford when he fought Gamboa lmao. Floyd was way better than Crawford at this stage in his career and had way more quality wins instead of just one decent win like Crawford now has. Floyd by 28 was hall of fame worthy... Crawford is nowhere near.

The problem with your logic is that you're equating "being a natural athlete" to being good at basketball. Usain Bolt might look awkward playing basketball, does that make him any less of an athlete than Lebron James?

lebron james is the far better athlete.

james plays a skill sport and has a bigger heavier frame than bolt. james also played american football in highschool.

              bolt just runs really fast.

professional basketball players are better athletes than one dimensional athletes who run really fast.

he's not really that great of an athlete. he's just like pacquiao. they were forced to box due to their circumstances (pacquiao being poor third worlder, floyd being in a boxing family).

neither are really great NATURALLY talented athletes.

they became who they are through sheer physical determination.

its easily proven with how badly floyd sucks at dancing and basketball. same with manny who is even worse than floyd whose basketabll shooting form looks like a paranoid schizophrenic high on bath salts.

had floyd shown natural smoothness in both dancing and bball i would have thought differently...

On Crawford being the next Mayweather - no chance. Always been a big TC fan but Mayweather is and will always be in a different class.

                    Yeah right.

Mayweather would never rely on gift decisions against the likes of Postol. The crowd and commentators skewed everyones judgement of that fight. Crawford was barely landing most of the rounds apart from some lucky flash knockdowns. Postol won about 8 or 9 rounds clearly.
